Designing systems people can trust
Trust grows when a product explains what is happening, makes consequences visible, and gives people a clear way back.
Make the state obvious
A person should never have to guess whether work was saved, a payment was sent, or a setting is active. Good interfaces answer those questions before anxiety has time to appear.

Design the recovery path
Errors are unavoidable. Confusion is not. Explain what happened in plain language, preserve the person's work, and make the next useful action easy to find.
Reliable products do not promise perfection. They make uncertainty manageable.
The smallest details often carry the greatest weight: a specific label, an honest confirmation, and a cancel button that really cancels.
